I finally scored

The level is a "machine set-up" level, used by machinists to level lathes, mills, etc. at each end of the vial assembly, you should find screws to keep it adjusted. These are still available today and quite expensive.

The trammel set is very useful (I have an identical one, but without the box, paid about $20 or so for it). LV (IIRC) is making a similar style.

The stair gauges are really nice for old timey carpenters that still use a framing square: just set on actual numbers.

Yeah, you suck!

Very nice score! I have the same level and trammel set. Those and the wide chisels are getting harder to find.
