I had to use the board stretcher today

Measure twice, cut once. I measured the space properly, *thought* I measured the board properly, but apparently something was off and it ended up 1/8" short. Fortunately, I had enough left to cleanly glue it back on, and given that piece is not only 6" off the ground but will never be under stress of any kind, I figured it made more sense to use the old board stretcher rather than surface another board, cut, route, sand, finish and everything else.

That seem is practically invisible.  I always say, "Can't see it from the street!"
Dumber than I appear

The Revos apparently are designed to clamp railroad ties and pull together horrifically prepared joints

I bet (know) you aren't the first person to cut a board too short.
