The bamboo cutting board is from The Cutting Board Company,

Yes, I've made my own in the past, but not from bamboo.

The Epicurean panels are from Lee Valley:

I screwed 4 rubber feet on the underside to keep it from sliding.

I like it, a lot. Very useful.
I no longer build museums but don't want to change my name. My new job is a lot less stressful. Life is much better.

For a moment I thought you had a solution for woodworking in the kitchen. That looks very nice and gives me an idea.
Heirlooms are self-important fiction so build what you like. Someone may find it useful.

I remember when all the local woodworking supply stores sold bamboo boards as a great hardwood replacement back when bamboo flooring was all the rage. I haven’t found it no anywhere again in years. Haven’t seen bamboo ever flooring again either. I have a new bamboo cutting board too but it hasn’t seen too much heavy use yet. I do need to apply some mineral oil to it regularly as it seems to dry out fast.
Any free advice given is worth double price paid.
