This 12-inch compound miter saw's unique TwinLaser cut lines clearly indicate both sides of the blade kerf even when the blade's not running. Its 15 amp motor easily slices 4x6s and 2x8s, and an electric brake stops the blade in seconds. The simple cam-lock miter locking system and nine positive stops speed up angle changes, and its large bevel scale facilitates quick, easy tilt settings. The sliding fence adjusts for better support and is extra tall for handling large workpieces or for cutting crown moulding on edge instead of flat on the table. The large, easy-grip D-handle with wide trigger is positioned horizontally to reduce operator fatigue and provide better control. The rugged aluminum base has notches for sawhorse mounting and quick jobsite setup. A built-in arbor lock means easy, single-wrench blade changes, and the dust bag collects fine dust particles and woodchips. Two-year limited warranty on machines, parts, and! accessories.
