This is the one I am using, right now..

Seymour Smith & Son....seems to work nicely enough..
The "Before"

and the "After"..

Just have to follow the grain directions, is all...

Test drives the other day...

Test drive #1..

Finally figure this one out, and how to sharpen it...
Test Drive #2..

Stanley Spokeshave....with a round sole...seems to be sharp enough..
Test Drive #3..

Had rehabbed this Stanley No. 60...and was trying out the curve cutter part...easy to adjust,,,just tap the handle against the bench, to either advance or retract..

All of this was to get a stick ready for..

This EC Stearns Tenon cutter test drive...

Set up to cut a 1/2" diameter "dowel"

Seems to work just fine...can cut up to 3-1/2" inches...and there is a scale to set that as well..
