RE: Catalpa Sitting Bench - Vet - 08-04-2016 How did you like working with the Catalpa?  I made a Hal Taylor rocking chair out of a crotch piece of catalpa and thought it was a dream to work with, light, fairly strong, and easy to sand and finish.
