Great start and write up photos but, I don't think it looks done. The bottom of the seat and legs are too heavy. I love the Galahad discs, the Lancelot is scary!

I have the Shop Foz which is a knock off of a knock off. I never clamp and it doesn't slip. These saws are designed primarily for sheet goods, rough sawn and all bets are off.

They give away free tools in order to sell batteries. Your old tools are worthless without batteries and even with new batteries the old tools are heavier, weaker and probably not worth buying new bat...
