But the most amazing part is how fast he completes these masterpieces!  It would be impressive if he did one or two each year but he cranks out several a month!  Amazing.

Wonderful, wonderful looking chair.

Yes, that is a beautiful chair, made extra special by using wood you milled yourself. It's sinuous like more modern interpretations but uses traditional joinery. Very nice and worth the wait. Now finish it.

Wish I was half as fast as Dave!!  Dave, I think I met you in a side chair class with Fred Walker.  Thanks for the compliments on the chair, I aim to finish it in the next week or so, I'll post another pic when I do.

This one is ready to go on the trailer. I really like the forged hardware and it was a really fast piece to build.

Apparently you didn't have a board wide enough for the top panel?

I did but I wasn’t going to use an 18”wide board on a spec piece that I may or may not sell at the show. I keep the really wide material for special pieces and charge a premium for them. The people that would buy this piece would not appreciate an 18”wide board and it would be wasted. 18-20” wide boards are getting almost impossible to find so I have to conserve them.
