Not a terribly difficult spring to make ... measure the wire gauge of the old one ... pick up a length of piano wire ... bend up a new one. Might take a few attempts, but you will get there. |

I stir .. AND shake as violently as I can to get the flatting agent in suspension .. then, I thin it drastically,, and finally, use it as a wipe-on finish. You will never get any bubbles using this ... |

I thin it WAY down (70%:30%) with VM&P NAPTHA ... it drastically reduces surface tension and allows the varnish to seep down into the pores which completely eliminates bubbles. Wipe it on with a pie... |
